Grace Presbyterian Church was originated in 1991 by five families who gathered at the Union County Library of Blairsville, Georgia. After the Presbyterian Church of America approved their request to form a PCA church, their small group became established as Grace Presbyterian Church. Eventually, the congregation moved into a storefront in Blairsville. In 1995 the church proceeded to purchase 11.6 acres of property, and in 1998 the breaking of ground for the construction of their building began. At last, in 1999 the church began to assemble in the newly constructed sanctuary, after which the building was formally dedicated to God. Since its founding, Grace Presbyterian Church has resided under pastors Rev. Bob Valentine (1991-1992), Dr. Ross Bair (1993-2003), Dr. John Grauley (2003-2009), and Dr. Jon Jacobs (2009-present).
